Chris Sharples President

Chris is excited to help the association identify and provide a program of opportunities for members to improve their marketing knowledge and skills that grow their businesses.

As the Marketing and Business Development Manager for PGL Environmental Consultants, he brings to the board eight years of hands-on experience as a professional services marketing practitioner and an enthusiasm for entrepreneurialism and business growth. He also has a marketing and sales background in medical devices, custom clothing, graphics, and corporate promotional items.

Combining creativity, practicality, business analysis and a touch of British-style humour, Chris provides programs for marketing and sales strategy, brand management, client relationship building, promotions, and proposals.




Dorothy Sitek Vice-President

Dorothy is the CSMPS lead on program development and welcomes program suggestions any time.

She has twenty years’ experience in marketing communications and is a crisis communications expert. Her new firm’s breadth of service reflects Dorothy’s experience garnered in both corporate and non-profit settings in a vast array of sectors. Generation Communications specializes in professional services and clients range from engineering, architecture and development to green energy, health and consumer.

Before launching her own firm, Dorothy led the BC office of Global award-winning PR giant Weber Shandwick Worldwide where she grew the business by over 300% during her tenure while developing award-winning programs for clients. WSW-Vancouver clients included Golder Associates, SNC Lavalin, Cannon Design, Fast+Epp, among many others.

Dorothy is currently the PR Chair of the 2014 Urban Land Institute’s Spring Meeting and is an active volunteer in her community.


Nancy Maribel Director

Nancy Maribel has successfully managed marketing and sales teams for over ten years in the professional services industry. She serves the Marketing Manager (Western Canada) at Integral Group, which is a global engineering consulting firm that offers a full range of building system design and sustainability consulting. Her expansive experience includes advertising, event planning and copywriting, and comes primarily from the AEC industry and from the consumer retail sector.

Results oriented, she focuses on delivering marketing solutions that drive actual results. At Sears Canada, she led two successful advertising print campaigns that led to increased sales and higher traffic for multiple stores. At Integral Group, she has managed the opening of two new locations, both of which are operating profitably. In addition, she has led over two hundred proposal submissions with a high win rate.

Passionate about the Vancouver built community, she volunteers with Projects in Place, a volunteer-run, non-profit society bringing design and construction professionals together.


Sarah Goddard Director

Sarah Goddard is a Marketing Coordinator at Stantec, a professional consulting firm that collaborates across disciplines and industries to bring buildings, energy and resource, and infrastructure projects to life. Mirroring the firm’s mission to “design with community in mind”, the role allows Sarah to contribute her passion, dedication and drive to achieve excellence while impacting the communities the company serves.

With over 10 years of combined marketing and administrative experience in the design and construction industry, Sarah began her career in Kelowna, BC before relocating to Vancouver, BC. She adds value and expertise to numerous proposal submissions and marketing materials for an array of industry sectors. In addition, Sarah has developed firm-wide marketing databases for quality control targets and marketing initiatives. Sarah’s organization and communication skills have contributed to professional successes spanning her career.

Passionate about music and singing, she enjoys performing with various vocal ensembles, cover bands, and singing the national anthem for sporting events around the province.


Carlee

As the Regional Marketing Manager for Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd, Carlee is responsible and accountable for all aspects of the marketing and business development initiatives for RJC’s BC operations. This includes designing and producing marketing collateral, advertisements, sponsorships, client engagement, proposal management, and the execution of various other business development pursuits.

With a decade of experience in marketing and sales, Carlee is a strategic thinker and precise tactician. Carlee has superior knowledge of establishing and managing processes, and analyzing opportunities for growth.

Passionate about the real estate and development industry and volunteering her time, Carlee also sits on the Professional Services Management Association (PSMA) Board of Directors and is a Committee Member on the BC Children’s Hospital Real Estate and Development Committee.
